BR-CO-10 Sum of line amounts does not match
The invoice states a sum of line net amounts (BT-106) that is not exactly the sum of the individual line amounts (BT-131). A difference of 1 cent is enough.
The message in the validation report
[BR-CO-10] Sum of Invoice line net amount (BT-106) = Σ Invoice line net amount (BT-131).
Common causes
- Rounding: the software calculates with more decimals and only rounds the total.
- Line amounts with more than 2 decimals (e.g. 12.345).
- A discount or surcharge was folded into the sum instead of a document-level allowance.
- A line (e.g. an optional item) counts in the data but not on the PDF.
How to fix it
- Round each line amount to 2 decimals, then add them up.
- Put invoice-wide discounts in a document-level allowance (BG-20), not into BT-106.
- Don’t send optional or alternative items as invoice lines.
